Job summary

Vitafenix Supplements is seeking a Planning & Business Analytics Specialist to help build an integrated planning infrastructure—covering MRP, ERP transitions, budgeting and forecasting, and analytics.

The role evolves from establishing MRP and operational planning to budgeting, performance management, and strategic planning, collaborating across management and functions to create a data-driven planning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

Vitafenix is looking for a highly analytical and motivated Planning & Business Analytics Specialist to join our growing organization.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career Industrial Engineer to take an active role in building Vitafenix’s integrated planning infrastructure from the ground up.

The role will initially focus on establishing MRP and operational planning processes and supporting the company’s transition from Logo Tiger to Logo Enterprise. Over time, the position will expand into budgeting, forecasting, business analytics, data mining and strategic planning.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and different business functions to build an integrated, data-driven planning environment.

Key Responsibilities

MRP & Operational Planning

• Establish and manage Vitafenix’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
• Build planning models covering finished products, raw materials, packaging materials and production requirements.
• Maintain and improve Bills of Materials (BOM), planning parameters, lead times and inventory policies.
• Translate sales forecasts into procurement and production requirements.
• Establish safety stock, reorder point and inventory optimization methodologies.
• Identify material shortages, excess inventory, capacity constraints and other planning risks.
• Develop rolling production and procurement plans.

ERP & Planning Infrastructure

• Play an active role in Vitafenix’s transition from Logo Tiger to Logo Enterprise.
• Define business and planning requirements for the new ERP environment.
• Work closely with ERP consultants and internal stakeholders during implementation.
• Help design master data structures, planning parameters and reporting requirements.
• Ensure that sales, inventory, purchasing, production and financial data are integrated into a consistent planning framework.
• Continuously improve ERP-supported planning processes as the organization grows.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management

• Support the preparation and coordination of the annual company budget.
• Develop periodic and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and analyze variances.
• Develop planning models for sales, costs, inventory, purchasing and operational requirements.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare regular management reports highlighting deviations, risks and opportunities.

Business Analytics & Data Mining

• Analyze sales, inventory, purchasing, production and financial data.
• Identify trends, patterns, correlations and business opportunities.
• Develop management dashboards and automated reporting tools.
• Transform operational and financial data into actionable business insights.
• Support management decisions through quantitative analysis and scenario modelling.

Strategic Planning

• Support management in developing short-, medium- and long-term business plans.
• Prepare scenario, sensitivity and what-if analyses.
• Support growth, capacity and resource planning.
• Contribute to strategic projects and investment evaluations.
• Help establish an integrated planning process connecting operational plans, budgets and company strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in planning, supply chain, production planning, business analytics or a related function. High-potential new graduates with strong analytical capabilities may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of or interest in MRP, inventory management and integrated planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Logo Tiger, Logo Enterprise or another ERP system is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python or similar analytics tools is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes end-to-end.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader business perspective.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Curious, proactive and eager to build new systems and processes.

This is not a position where you will simply operate an existing planning system.

You will have the opportunity to help build Vitafenix’s planning infrastructure — from MRP and ERP-based operational planning to budgeting, forecasting, analytics and strategic planning.

As Vitafenix grows, this position is expected to evolve into a central planning and analytics role supporting management across the entire organization.
