Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a Production Planning Supervisor to lead planning activities across short-, mid- and long-term horizons within our Supply Chain organization, ensuring optimal use of capacity and materials.

You will translate demand and priorities into feasible production and supply plans, collaborate with Production, Demand Planning, Customer Service and Procurement, monitor KPIs, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of Production Planning / Supply Planning experience in pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG industries.
• Strong experience in capacity planning, production planning, S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced command of written and spoken English; MS Office.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM and PPDS.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and capacity planning, considering forecasts, orders, workforce, production constraints and business priorities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production and supply plans for finished and semi-finished goods, ensuring plan adherence and supply continuity.
• Consolidate forecasts and perform short- and long-term capacity planning, proactively identifying capacity, material, and supply risks.
• Monitor production performance and planning KPIs, analyze deviations and drive corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Manage planning activities for new product launches, product transitions, and development projects.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Material Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Customer Service and end markets to align supply with business requirements.
• Lead S&OE meetings and actively contribute to the S&OP cycle and Supply Review, providing capacity, inventory and supply insights.
• Lead and contribute to Supply Chain digitalization and system development projects, including SAP S/4HANA and PPDS initiatives.
• Take ownership of end-to-end supply planning and lead, coach and develop the Production Planning team.
