Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. seeks a Production Planning Engineer in its plant in Adapazarı, Turkey.

The role focuses on material planning for finished products, coordinating with OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers, and managing SAP Master Data for part numbers and plant codes. Responsibilities include ensuring on-time deliveries, stock monitoring, 3PL coordination, and delivering data-driven KPI reporting to optimize logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in similar positions.
• Advanced level of Excel and MS Office applications.
• Analytical thinking, result- and customer-oriented approach, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Material planning of finished products and direct local contact for the OEM and other Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers.
• Procurement of products from different suppliers according to schedule.
• Create / extend new part numbers to the related Plant Code in SAP Master Data.
• Dispatch of goods to the different customers in accordance with agreed schedules and purchase orders.
• Support monitoring of stock with regard to short deliveries and over deliveries.
• Tracking of empties and stock of returnable packaging.
• Coordinate with the plants and with OEM to establish a secure process for correct devolution in our FGS end item suppliers and manufacturing plants.
• Organising project delivery preparations, give directions to 3PL to ensure deliveries are prepared for correct ship-to parties.
• Responsible for transport related topics including coordination & tracking of special shipments.
• Monitoring of delivery dates and customs clearance (documents, preferences, invoices) to guarantee flawless transport.
• Support organization with data preparation for reporting / KPI's.
• Uploading inv. files from customer and creating SD's.
• Analysis for continuous improvement in logistics processes.
• General customer care regarding logistic issues.
• Continuous improvement and optimization of the steady flow of goods and information.
• Contact with IT to have necessary supports in case of any bottleneck in SAP system.

What will your job be about?
