Job summary

Crs Soft is seeking a Senior Concept Artist to shape the visual identity of our games from inception to completion. You will collaborate with a team of talented artists, creating concept art that fuels our creative vision and elevates our titles to unparalleled levels of excellence.

• Proven experience as a concept artist in the video game industry.
• Proficiency with digital art software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Substance 3D Collection.
• Mastery of traditional art techniques including drawing and painting.
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and how concept art integrates with other disciplines.
• Experience mentoring a team of artists.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with concept art lead to develop visual style and direction for our games.
• Create key concept art pieces for characters, environments, props, and moments.
• Oversee development of concept art pipelines for consistency and efficiency.

Job Description

As a Senior Concept Artist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our games from inception to completion. Leveraging your extensive experience and artistic expertise, you will work with a team of talented artists, creating stunning concept art that fuels our creative vision and elevates our games to unparalleled levels of excellence.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a concept artist in the video game industry, with multiple achievements,
• Exceptional proficiency in digital art softwares such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Substance 3D Collection, etc.,
• Mastery of traditional art techniques, including drawing, painting, and visual storytelling,
• Deep understanding of game development pipelines and processes, with a keen eye for how concept art integrates with other disciplines,
• Strong mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire a team of artists,
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and provide constructive feedback,
• A passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in gaming and a commitment to innovation and excellence,
• Ability to work across multiple art styles from hyper-realistic to super-stylized,
• An attentive eye for light, color & composition,
• A perfect team player with excellent communication skills,
• Following current trends and being able to forecast the upcoming ones,
• A portfolio of your art that will reflect your ability and skill set to work with
• different techniques and styles.

• Create key concept art pieces, including characters, environments, props, and key moments, that serve as the foundation for the game's visual design,
• Oversee the development of concept art pipelines and processes, streamlining workflows and ensuring efficiency and consistency across the team,
• Mentor a team of concept artists, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the highest quality of artwork and creative output,
• Act as a creative leader and advocate for the importance of concept art within the development process, championing innovative ideas and approaches that push the boundaries of artistic expression,
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new techniques and methodologies into our artistic workflows to maintain our competitive edge.
