Job summary

Çalık Holding is seeking a Senior Associate in the CEO Office to support the Strategy Department with portfolio analysis, financial modelling and M&A execution in Istanbul.

The role requires 5+ years in consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate strategy, strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently while contributing to group-wide value creation.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Associate - CEO Office to join the Strategy Department within the CEO Office of Çalık Holding. The role sits close to the group's investment and strategic planning agenda and plays a critical part in decision-making across all group companies, requiring a balanced focus on strategy and value creation alongside the ability to carry work independently.

Main responsibilities:

• Contributing to portfolio-level analysis and to the group's strategic planning cycle
• Preparing financial models and supporting valuation and feasibility work on prospective investments
• Taking part in M&A processes and due diligence projects, with full ownership of individual work streams from start to finish
• Conducting market research and examining technology trends in order to source and shape new business ideas
• Monitoring global and sector-level developments and translating them into company-specific strategies and action plans
• Supporting start-up scouting and assessment activity on behalf of the group's corporate venture capital arm.

The position is located in İstanbul.

Qualifications:

• A strong academic record from a well-regarded institution, with a degree in engineering, business administration, economics or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, transaction services or a corporate strategy function
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and leadership skills
• Sound command of financial modelling, grounded in solid finance and accounting fundamentals
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable within a project-based structure, managing several priorities against defined timelines
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
