Job summary

Çalık Holding's CEO Office is seeking a Senior Associate in the Strategy Department based in Istanbul. The role supports portfolio-level analysis, financial modelling, and evaluation of potential investments, with close involvement in M&A and strategic planning.

You will work on market research, translate industry trends into actionable plans, and engage with the corporate venture capital arm to source new ideas.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business administration, economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or corporate strategy.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and leadership.
• Solid financial modelling knowledge and accounting fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in project-based work.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Associate - CEO Office to join the Strategy Department within the CEO Office of Çalık Holding. The role sits close to the group's investment and strategic planning agenda and plays a critical part in decision-making across all group companies, requiring a balanced focus on strategy and value creation alongside the ability to carry work independently.

Main responsibilities:

• Contributing to portfolio-level analysis and to the group's strategic planning cycle
• Preparing financial models and supporting valuation and feasibility work on prospective investments
• Taking part in M&A processes and due diligence projects, with full ownership of individual work streams from start to finish
• Conducting market research and examining technology trends in order to source and shape new business ideas
• Monitoring global and sector-level developments and translating them into company-specific strategies and action plans
• Supporting start-up scouting and assessment activity on behalf of the group's corporate venture capital arm.

The position is located in İstanbul.

Qualifications:

• A strong academic record from a well-regarded institution, with a degree in engineering, business administration, economics or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, transaction services or a corporate strategy function
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and leadership skills
• Sound command of financial modelling, grounded in solid finance and accounting fundamentals
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable within a project-based structure, managing several priorities against defined timelines
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
