Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:ELDS Sales & Solutions Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesAs Lead Engineer for eHouses you coordinate eHouse related engineering activities for both tendering and project execution.In this role, you will oversee the engineering of eHouse projects, delivering high-quality, cost-effective and timely solutions to customers, in line with the contract, safety and quality requirements while maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing service at all stages of the project.You will coordinate engineering activities and technical clarifications performed by engineering experts from different disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, structural and cooling engineering, by eHouse fabricators and by suppliers of equipment to be installed into an eHouse.The work model for the role is: onsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:Responsible for the engineering of eHouse projects, ensuring high customer satisfaction, that all targets including schedule and deadlines are met, and that relevant guidelines are followedUnderstand customer requirements, application specific needs, as well as global and local standards and regulations, and ensure the relevant information is provided to all stakeholdersSolid technical knowledge of MV/LV, Transformers, UPS, DC, HVAC, Fire & Gas systems; experience in prefabricated solutions and complex integrated substation packages including design and commissioning stagesProficiency in AutoCAD for preparing and revising 2D/3D technical drawings; ability to develop concept structural designs for eHouse and support tendering with conceptual design solutionsAbility to perform EPLAN-based drawing revisions, updates, and creation of new project schematicsExperience in power system calculations using tools such as ETAP/SKM, including short circuit analysis, selectivity, relay coordination, cable sizing, and cable schedule preparationExperience in managing technical documentation processes including preparation, revision control, compliance tracking, and specification review for both project execution and tendering phasesAbility to provide alternative and optimize solutions according to customer requirementsCapability to provide technical commentary and evaluate ABB products, systems, and architectures, integrating ABB-specific advantages into engineering deliverables and design decisionsCoordinate continuous improvement of eHouse engineering processes, planning and competencies, ensure best practices are used in eHouse projects and develop eHouse engineering skills and knowledge in your own organization as well as with partners, eHouse fabricators and equipment suppliersSupport the sales team in the generation of offers, strategies and conceptsQualifications for the role10 years of experience in eHouse engineering, lead engineering, or engineering management, for electrification projectsDemonstrated experience in managing engineering activities, vendors/subcontractors as well as engineering processesA focus on safe work practices and following workplace safety guidelinesA high level of self-motivation and curiosity, and a willingness to learn about new technologiesDemonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and well-developed communication, coaching skillsA bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar fieldGood command of English and Turkish knowledgeBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
