Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Aegean Region with responsibilities to develop and grow sales by visiting machinery manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, and end customers in İzmir. You will identify opportunities, understand customer applications, recommend Pepperl Fuchs solutions, and work with channel partners to achieve targets, traveling regularly within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• 1+ year(s) of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit machinery customers, OEMs, system integrators, and end customers to develop and follow up projects.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
• Understand customer applications and provide suitable product and solution recommendations.
• Develop strong product knowledge and provide preliminary technical support to customers.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, projects, and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and opportunity information in CRM systems.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer requirements and share market intelligence.
• Work closely with internal departments and overseas offices to support customer projects and business opportunities.
• Travel regularly within the assigned region.

Position: Sales Engineer

Location: İzmir

Role Purpose

Develop and grow sales activities in the assigned region by visiting machinery manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, and end customers. Identify new business opportunities, understand customer applications and technical requirements, and provide suitable Pepperl Fuchs Product Range solution. Build long-term customer relationships and work closely with channel partners to achieve sales targets.

Role Responsibilities

• Visit machinery customers, OEMs, system integrators, and end customers on a regular basis to develop and follow up projects
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts
• Understand customer applications and technical requirements and provide suitable product and solution recommendations
• Develop strong product knowledge and provide preliminary technical support to customers
• Prepare and follow up quotations, projects, and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and opportunity information in CRM systems
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer requirements and share market intelligence
• Work closely with internal departments and overseas offices to support customer projects and business opportunities
• Participate in customer visits, seminars, exhibitions, and other sales and marketing activities
• Conduct regular reporting and present project status, sales activities, and market developments to management
• Travel regularly within the assigned region

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics,Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Preferably 1+ years of experience in sales.
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused approach
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
