Job summary

Izmir Shipyard invites a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our ambitious team. You will engage customers, qualify prospects, prepare quotations, and close deals, leveraging deep knowledge of commercial boat sales and pricing.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, travel as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed monthly and annual revenue targets while delivering exceptional service to governmental and private clients.

Qualifications

• Proven sales engineering background in commercial boats or related industries.
• Education background in marine engineering or relevant subjects.
• Fluent in Turkish and English; other languages a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both languages.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

An ideal candidate is a self-sufficient person who is comfortable interacting customers, making calls, meetings, qualifying prospects, generating interest, and closing sales as well as having a significant expertise with commercial boat sales, pricing and preparing quotations.

Specifically you are expected to

Requirements

• Proven background in sales engineering preferably in commercial boat building or related industries
• Education background in marine engineering or relevant subjects
• A friendly, outgoing personality who loves interacting with customers both at commercial and governmental levels.
• Fluent in Turkish & English; other languages is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both languages
• Self-driven, motivated and results oriented;
