Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Solutions Architect in Turkey for a fully remote, full-time role. You will define architecture strategy, roadmaps, and reference patterns while guiding engineering teams through complex decisions.

The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, DevOps, automation, and modern software architecture. You will bridge pre-sales and delivery, mentor engineers, influence senior stakeholders, and remain hands-on for greenfield initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including architecture-focused roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record delivering distributed systems in production at scale.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOA, event-driven design, messaging, SQL, and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID, TDD/EDD, IaC, security, governance, observability, and resilience.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms, especially Azure or comparable platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and production operations.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to influence without formal authority.
• Modernizing legacy systems and AI/ML integration are a plus.
• Cloud or architecture certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture blueprints, patterns, and roadmaps for complex platforms.
• Design scalable, reliable distributed systems with security and cost controls.
• Act as primary architectural authority across systems modernization efforts.
• Architect and optimize cloud/hybrid infrastructures with IaC and automation.
• Guide DevOps adoption, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows.
• Support engineering with debugging, performance, and refactoring.
• Contribute to prototypes and technical reviews when needed.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess technical feasibility in pre-sales.
• Ensure architecture decisions transition to delivery and planning.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen architectural maturity across teams.
