Partner company in Turkey seeks a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to shape a scalable, high-performance data backbone for a global tech platform. You will own data warehouse architecture, pipelines, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong hands-on expertise with data modeling and transformation tools, particularly dbt.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with ClickHouse, Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration platforms such as Prefect or Airflow.
• Understanding of scalable data pipelines, ELT, data quality, and warehouse performance.
• Experience with version control, testing, and automation in software engineering.
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC practices.
• English communication in globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions that support analytics and operational needs.
• Develop reliable data pipelines and ELT processes with data quality standards.
• Design data models and transformations using dbt and SQL.
• Optimize warehouse performance via query optimization, partitioning, indexing.
• Monitor and improve warehouse infrastructure balancing performance and cost.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to turn raw data into insights.
• Work with ClickHouse and other columnar data platforms.
• Contribute to developer-facing data tools and promote best practices.
• Apply software engineering principles like version control, reviews, testing, and automation.
• Enable data-driven decision-making with clean, reliable data.
• Collaborate across a globally distributed organization and foster engineering culture.
