Job summary

JobCubby is seeking an Engineering Manager based in Turkey to lead a globally distributed engineering team in a fully remote environment. You will combine strong technical judgment with people leadership to help engineers deliver high‑value products, spanning roadmap execution, architectural decisions, and team development.

You will work closely with Product, Design, and customer-facing teams to balance new features, technical investments, and product quality while removing blockers and enabling

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Strong background in React or Clojure-based tech stacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for asynchronous collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and support a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality features.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Success to plan the roadmap balancing features and tech debt.
• Coach engineers and develop their careers in a low-structure environment.
• Remove obstacles and improve team processes to increase iteration speed.
• Hire, onboard, and build a strong engineering culture.
