Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of partner company, is seeking an Engineering Manager for Managed Services based in Turkey. You will lead a distributed team operating modern cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes and OpenStack, balancing operational excellence with engineering quality.

You will drive service delivery, customer collaboration, and continuous improvement, while shaping engineering and operations processes across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tech education or experience.
• Experience in software engineering with Python/Go/C/C++, or similar.
• Experience with OpenStack.
• Strong software quality practices and testing knowledge.
• Linux system administration experience; Ubuntu/Debian is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with agile development and distributed teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team to improve velocity and quality.
• Oversee day-to-day managed services delivery across customer environments.
• Establish processes for scalability and reliability.
• Monitor team health and improve collaboration and performance.
• Maintain focus on priorities, milestones, and commitments.
• Represent the team with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure SLAs across global deployments.
• Drive improvements from feedback to products and processes.
