Job summary

Medsien Inc. is seeking an organized, motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of frontend, backend, test, and mobile developers in Istanbul with the CEO and global teams.

You will drive design, ensure scalable, high-availability software, collaborate with Product and Design, and implement disciplined engineering processes while embracing remote work opportunities and in-person collaboration when required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience and 4+ years of leading engineering teams.
• Experience in a dynamic, agile environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar web development frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Accommodation in Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing team of software engineers to develop, test and deploy high available and scalable products.
• Collaborate with Product, HR and cross-functional teams to ensure data flow and product success.
• Lead the system design activities and architectural decisions along with developers.
• Deliver timely, quality services and maintain rigorous engineering standards.
