Job summary

Medsien is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional engineering team in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. You will guide front-end, back-end, test and mobile developers, coordinating with Product, Sales, and Design to deliver reliable software.

This role reports to the CEO and collaborates with Turkish and US teams, with a focus on scalable, high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in full-stack roles and 4+ years in leadership, strong

Qualifications

7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
4+ years leading engineering teams.
Experience with Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar web development frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Accommodation in Istanbul.

Responsibilities

Manage a growing and motivated team of software engineers to develop, test and deploy high availability and scalable products.
Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Design to ensure the best value for stakeholders and customers.
Lead system design activities and architectural decisions with developers.
Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes.
Mentor and develop the growing team of developers.
Ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
Stay up-to-date on new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team.
Partner with HR to ensure a healthy human resource pipeline.
