Job summary

World Business Lenders, LLC in Ankara, Turkey seeks an Asset Resolution Counsel to lead legal strategy and resolution efforts for non-performing commercial real estate loans. The role partners with internal teams, outside counsel, and borrowers to maximize recoveries while controlling legal risk and timelines.

The candidate will manage portfolios, supervise staff, coordinate with litigations, and implement loss mitigation strategies across negotiation, restructuring, and foreclosure as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Law degree (from a nationally accredited U.S. law school preferred).
• Experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and real estate loss mitigation.
• Experience managing non-performing loan pools and REO portfolios.
• Experience supervising and mentoring case management staff.
• Experience working for a U.S.-based company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loan portfolio, including REO, toward effective resolution.
• Supervise, train and develop Asset Resolution Department staff.
• Monitor and manage commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure activities, deadlines.
• Direct/liaise with in-house and outside attorneys, collection agencies, and other vendors.
• Interact with customers and their counsel; negotiate settlements.
