Job summary

Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist (Fragrance Raw Materials) to manage purchasing operations and report to the Category Manager. The role focuses on MRP-aligned orders, supplier coordination, and ERP documentation in a dynamic fragrance and flavor environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in raw material purchasing, ideally within fragrance, flavor, cosmetics or chemical industries, with strong English skills and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing.
• Experience in fragrance, flavor, cosmetics or chemical industries preferred.
• Experience in purchasing natural raw materials, especially essential oils.
• Familiar with international suppliers, import operations and international shipment processes.
• Strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow up raw material purchase orders in line with MRP and material requirement plans.
• Manage order confirmation, lead time, shipment and delivery processes with local and international suppliers.
• Closely monitor inventory levels, open purchase orders and critical raw material requirements.
• Take necessary operational actions in case of delays, shortages or other supply-related issues.
• Ensure the smooth and complete execution of import, logistics and purchasing documentation processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order, price, lead time and supplier information in the ERP system.
• Work closely with Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Import and Logistics teams.
• Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, deliveries and supplier performance and report them to the Category Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Create and follow up raw material purchase orders in line with MRP and material requirement plans,
• Manage order confirmation, lead time, shipment and delivery processes with local and international suppliers,
• Closely monitor inventory levels, open purchase orders and critical raw material requirements,

We would like to meet you if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing,
• Preferably have purchasing experience in the fragrance, flavor, cosmetics or chemical industries,
• Have experience in purchasing operations for natural raw materials, particularly essential oils,
• Are familiar with international suppliers, import operations and international shipment processes,
• Have strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel,
• Have a good command of written and spoken English,
• Have strong follow-up, coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
