Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle seeks a Procurement Specialist to join the Supply Chain Department in Turkey. The role focuses on direct goods and services procurement, working under the Procurement Manager to optimize costs and supplier performance.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in procurement, strong English, and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or Ariba as an asset. This position is based in Esenyurt, Marmara Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong English, both written and verbal, and good MS Office skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing direct goods and services.
• Achieve cost advantages by executing procurement activities meeting quality, quantity and time requirements.
• Negotiate long- and short-term contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate approvals with stakeholders and monitor contract terms.
• Track supplier performance and ensure contract adherence.
• Manage routine supplier communications and issue resolution.

Procurement Specialist will work on Supply Chain Department and will be reporting to Procurement Manager.

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from an engineering department or Business Administration),
• Min. 2 years experience of procurement (preferably FMCG sector),
• Good command of written and verbal English,
• Good command of MS Office (knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is an asset),
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Strong analytical & reporting skills,

Responsibilities;

• Responsible from purchasing of direct goods and service procurement,
• Provide financial advantage to the company by executing procurement activities in line with requested quality, quantity and time,
• Making short and long term contracts with the suppliers,
• Ensures alignment and approval from relevant stakeholders as required,
• Monitoring of supplier performance against agreed contract terms,
• Handles operational interaction with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed contract,
• Coordinate the purchasing operations process in line with SAP,
• Create purchase orders with correct data and transmit to vendor with applicable documentation,
• Enrich and update supplier portfolio via market analysis,
• Manages day-to-day communication with suppliers,
• Handles routine commercial matters & supports day-to-day operational issue resolution.
