Job summary

Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company is seeking a Junior Category Manager – Flavor Raw Materials to drive the commercial management of assigned flavor raw material categories. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Director to support supplier development, cost optimization and supply continuity.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in raw material purchasing or category management, with flavor/food ingredients or chemical industry experience, strong negotiation and ERP/MRP proficiency, and

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing or category management.
• Experience in flavor, food ingredients or chemical industries preferred.
• Experience in local and international supplier development and management.
• Strong skills in quotation analysis, cost analysis and commercial negotiations.
• Active contribution to alternative supplier and sourcing development initiatives.
• Experience in supply risk and critical raw materials management.
• Familiar with international sourcing and import processes.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial activities of assigned flavor raw material categories.
• Monitor local and global supplier markets and identify alternative suppliers and new sourcing opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze raw material prices, market dynamics and supply risks.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes, quotation comparisons and supplier negotiations.
• Contribute to cost optimization and alternative sourcing projects.
• Monitor supplier performance based on price, quality and delivery criteria.
• Develop actions to ensure supply continuity for critical raw materials.
• Work closely with Planning, Purchasing Operations, R&D, Quality, Production and Finance teams.
• Prepare analyses and reports on category performance, costs and supply risks and present them to the Supply Chain Director.

We Would Like to Meet You If You:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing or category management.
• Preferably have purchasing experience in the flavor, food, food ingredients or chemical industries.
• Have experience in local and international supplier development and management.
• Have strong skills in quotation analysis, cost analysis and commercial negotiations.
• Have actively contributed to alternative supplier and sourcing development initiatives.
• Have experience in supply risk and critical raw material management.
• Are familiar with international sourcing and import processes.
• Have strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Have a good command of written and spoken English.
• Have strong analytical thinking, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
