Job summary

Kemerburgaz Office and School Supplies seeks a Product Manager to own and develop the product portfolio across leading brands for Türkiye. You will evaluate import requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with suppliers and the sales team, and drive market insights through field visits.

The role includes budgeting, launches, pricing, and training material development, with a focus on domestic and international growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of German or Spanish is considered a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Preferably experienced in the stationery, office supplies, or FMCG sectors.
• Knowledge of import and export processes (e.g. Tareks).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with strong presentation skills.
• Analytical, proactive, dynamic, results-oriented, and open to continuous development.
• No restrictions on domestic or international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the assigned product portfolio and closely follow industry and market trends.
• Evaluate import requirements, regulatory procedures, and potential challenges for new products, and make go/no-go import decisions together with management.
• Review and verify the compliance of product test reports, certificates, and other required documentation with applicable import regulations before placing orders.
• Closely monitor and coordinate the import process together with the Import Operations team, ensuring that all required documentation, testing, and regulatory procedures are completed accurately and on time.
• Analyze market dynamics, competitors, and customer needs through weekly field and store visits.
• Prepare annual purchasing plans and budgets, and monitor targets by category and product.
• Execute purchasing activities in line with approved budgets.
• Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for assigned products and actively participate in their implementation.
• Manage communication and coordination between the sales team and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for critical products, and manage supply processes.
• Prepare product and category training materials and deliver training to relevant teams.
• Manage new product launches and pricing processes.
• Regularly prepare and share product-related reports and presentations with management and business partners.
• Support the continuous updating of social media content and marketing materials.
• Develop and implement initiatives to increase brand awareness and sales performance in both domestic and international markets.
