Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Istanbul is seeking a Commercial Controlling Specialist to support trade spend tracking, marketing budget monitoring, and sales forecasting with analytical insights.

You will maintain reporting tools and dashboards, work with cross-functional teams, and help improve commercial performance while developing your analytical skills in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial controlling.
• Interest in finance, commercial controlling, or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of Excel (advanced skills are a plus).
• Familiarity with SAP or BI tools is an advantage but not required.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with data.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of models to track trade spend across customers, channels, and product categories.
• Assist in calculating and monitoring monthly trade spend and open commitments under supervision.
• Help track marketing expenses versus budget and support coordination with the marketing team.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for Brand, Trade Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.
• Provide support in sales forecasting and budgeting processes using existing templates and tools.
• Assist in basic profitability and pricing analysis for new products (SKUs).
• Support the Commercial Controlling team in preparing analyses for key customer discussions.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects related to Revenue Growth Management initiatives.
• Help maintain and update dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (Excel / BI tools).
• Assist in monitoring processes and internal controls (e.g., sales and marketing data checks).
• Participate in ongoing projects and support improvements in reporting and data processes.

Commercial Controlling Specialist

Perfetti Van Melle is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum. We are now looking for Commercial Controlling Specialist in Finance department to join our team in Istanbul.

Job Purpose

To support trade spend tracking, marketing budget monitoring, and sales forecasting processes while providing analytical insights, maintaining reporting tools, and assisting cross-functional teams to improve commercial performance and decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
