Gizli is seeking a Capex Purchasing Specialist to join the Head Office in Turkey. The role covers end-to-end purchasing, market analysis, tendering, and strategic supplier management across facilities and projects.

Ideal candidates possess a degree in engineering/commerce, 3+ years in related sectors, and strong English as well as ERP/Autocad/Revit familiarity. The position emphasizes cost optimization, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant university departments (such as Engineering Faculties, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.), preferably with a master’s degree
• Preferably has a minimum of 3 years of experience in one of the following sectors: construction, real estate development, architecture, retail, food & beverage, or service industry
• Knowledgeable in procurement, order management, market research, price analysis, supplier relations, negotiation techniques, concrete, steel, mechanical-electrical systems, and equipment
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project programs
• Experienced in ERP systems
• Basic reading proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Responsibilities

• Ensuring purchasing processes and systems operate accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with procedures.
• Managing end-to-end purchasing processes for assigned categories, including needs analysis, market research, pricing, tendering, and negotiation.
• Conducting supplier research, development, and performance management; creating alternative suppliers and optimizing supplier numbers.
• Coordinating contract expirations, delivery schedules, and price transitions to ensure continuity of supply.
• Applying strategic purchasing principles; developing purchasing strategies based on category dynamics and company needs and submitting them for managerial approval.
• Monitoring market trends and technologies; identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities and reporting them to management.
• Managing tender processes, including collecting bids, preparing specifications, creating tender reports, and submitting for approval.
• Performing price analysis, budget control, and cost optimization; preparing monthly price increase reports.
• Conducting supplier risk analysis (financial, quality, compliance) and proactively managing risks; ensuring non-compliant suppliers are not engaged.
• Maintaining coordination with internal stakeholders in purchasing processes; minimizing urgent purchases and ensuring approval mechanisms are followed.
• Taking an active role in new product/service development processes; managing sample studies and reference checks.
• Monitoring payment and progress billing processes; supporting resolution of invoice and delivery issues.
• Defining prices in in-house programs and ERP systems and reporting the processes.
• Conducting cost research for non-stock items, preparing price forecasts for annual budget planning, and sharing with relevant departments.
• Ensuring timely procurement of export-based purchases in line with agreements and export plans.
