Job summary

SIHAMCO is seeking a talented Pastry CDP with specialized expertise in Greek and Turkish desserts to join our on-site pastry team. The role involves preparing a variety of pastries, maintaining high quality, and developing innovative dessert offerings.

You will manage pastry operations, supervise junior staff, and ensure strict hygiene and food safety standards. Formal culinary training is a plus, and experience in luxury hospitality environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry CDP or Dessert Chef specializing in Greek or Turkish pastry.
• Formal culinary/pastry training is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regional ingredients, spices, and techniques (rose water, orange blossom, semolina, phyllo, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and present Greek and Turkish pastries and desserts.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dessert items.
• Develop new dessert offerings inspired by traditional flavors with seasonal twists.
• Manage pastry kitchen operations, including inventory, cost, and hygiene standards.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and pastry assistants as needed.
• Maintain proper storage of ingredients and ensure food safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B to plan dessert menus for services and events.
