Job summary

Siham International Trading Co. is seeking a Pastry CDP with expertise in Greek and Turkish desserts. The role focuses on preparing and presenting traditional pastries, developing new offerings, and maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pastry CDP or Dessert Chef specializing in Greek or Turkish pastry.
• Strong knowledge of regional ingredients and techniques (rose water, orange blossom, semolina, phyllo dough).
• Ability to manage kitchen operations, inventory, costs, and hygiene (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and present a variety of Greek and Turkish pastries and desserts.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dessert items.
• Develop new dessert offerings inspired by traditional flavors with seasonal twists.
• Manage pastry kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and hygiene standards.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and pastry assistants as needed.
• Maintain proper storage of ingredients and compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team to plan menus for events and catering.
• Ensure all production is completed timely to meet service deadlines.
