Job summary

NOVEX Elevator & Escalator in Istanbul is seeking an on-site Elevator Operator to ensure the safe, efficient operation of both passenger and freight elevators. This full-time position focuses on monitoring performance, assisting passengers, and maintaining a calm response to any issues.

You will perform basic visual inspections, report malfunctions to maintenance, follow established procedures and safety regulations, and provide courteous directions to building occupants to support smooth daily

Qualifications

• Must follow safety protocols, emergency procedures, and building regulations.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication with passengers.
• Basic technical understanding of elevator operation, with ability to report issues promptly.
• Reliable with timekeeping, consistent shift coverage.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and move safely within elevator areas.
• On-site work in Istanbul; collaboration with diverse colleagues and occupants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of passenger and freight elevators.
