Job summary

AppNation is seeking an IT Specialist to keep our team connected, equipped, and productive as we grow. You will support macOS, Windows, and Linux devices; manage onboarding/offboarding; and secure our workspace with MFA, encryption, and endpoint protection.

You’ll administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, handle MDM tools, supervise network access (VPN/Wi‑Fi), and coordinate with vendors. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset is essential in a fast-moving, hybrid team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on IT support, IT operations, or similar roles.
• Experience with macOS, Windows, Linux, and office devices.
• Knowledge of Linux administration, services, and command-line troubleshooting.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration.
• Onboarding/offboarding, access permissions, and license management.
• Networking: Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewall rules.
• MDM tools such as Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, or Intune.
• Endpoint security, encryption, and policy enforcement.
• Strong troubleshooting, clear communication, and ownership mindset.
• English technical reading/writing; ability to liaise with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Set up and maintain devices and meeting room tech, printers, and displays.
• Administer MDM, device enrollment, configurations, and security policies.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding; provisioning and decommissioning devices.
• Manage workplace apps and SaaS tools; user accounts and licenses.
• Configure office networks and VPNs; support video conferencing systems.
• Maintain inventory; coordinate purchases, repairs, warranties.
• Apply IT security practices; MFA, disk encryption, endpoint protection.
• Document issues and solutions; create setup guides; automate workflows.
