Job summary

Arvato is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to ensure reliable end-user device operation and IT systems support across sites. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot OS, drivers, antivirus, patches, and business applications while handling Jira tickets and AD user access management.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Technologies, Software, Computer Engineering, or related field; engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of IT support, help desk, end-user computing, system support, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of end-user devices and respond to incidents promptly.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot OS, drivers, antivirus, patches, and business apps.
• Handle user requests via Jira, resolve incidents and service requests per SLA targets.
• Create and maintain AD definitions for users, devices, printers, and access.
• Support network operations including LAN, wireless, VPN, remote access, and permissions.
• Monitor alerts, take corrective action, and escalate risks to IT Support Team Manager.
• Follow backup processes and support restoration when required.
• Coordinate application installations via Jira and obtain security approvals.
• Maintain IT asset and account records; support onboarding and offboarding access.
• Research IT needs, create purchase requests, and follow approvals.
