Wide and Wise is seeking a Deputy General Manager to support the Group General Manager in operational and administrative duties within maritime and port operations in Turkey. The role requires leadership experience and deep knowledge of vessel and port processes, with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in maritime-related roles, strong communication, and advanced English, plus proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in maritime, shipping, port operations, or a similar industry.
• Previous leadership or senior operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of vessel and port operations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and proactive approach.
• Strong reporting and organizational skills.
• Advanced level of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in operational and administrative processes.
• Coordinate and oversee daily maritime and port operations.
• Ensure operational continuity and resolve operational issues when needed.
• Prepare regular operational reports for the Head Office.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and operational teams.
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and operational standards.
• Drive coordination across teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
