Job summary

DP World Türkiye in Kocaeli seeks a Commercial Manager to drive profitable growth, manage key customer and shipping line relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in port & terminal industry with commercial/sales experience.

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Commercial team in Kocaeli, responsible for driving profitable business growth, managing key customer and shipping line relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve commercial targets.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, BCOs, cargo owners and key customers.
• Lead and support the sales team to drive profitable business growth and improve commercial performance.
• Support the Commercial Director in preparing tariff sheets, TSA offers, commercial proposals and negotiations.
• Prepare commercial analyses and business cases to assess the profitability and financial impact of new opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, customer insights and business development activities.
• Monitor tariffs and invoicing to ensure accuracy and minimize potential revenue leakage.
• Manage customer expectations and work closely with Operations, Finance, HSE and regional commercial teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor sales team performance, support team development and foster a collaborative working environment.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Maritime, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the port & terminal industry, with relevant commercial/sales experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness with good analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A proactive, collaborative and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Willingness to travel when required.
