Job summary

DP World in Kocaeli, Turkey, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the Commercial team and drive profitable growth by managing key customer and shipping line relationships. You will guide the sales function to achieve ambitious targets and support strategic negotiations.

The role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, a solid grasp of market dynamics, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance and regional teams. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Maritime, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in port & terminal industry with relevant commercial/sales experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, BCOs, cargo owners and key customers.
• Lead and support the sales team to drive profitable business growth and improve commercial performance.
• Prepare tariff sheets, TSA offers, commercial proposals and negotiations.
• Prepare analyses and business cases to assess profitability and financial impact of new opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research and customer insights.
• Monitor tariffs and invoicing to minimize revenue leakage.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HSE and regional teams to deliver solutions.
• Monitor sales performance and develop the team towards targets.
