Job summary

Theo, serving Maxphotonics' high-performance fiber laser solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Bursa, Turkey. In this role you will install, calibrate, diagnose and repair equipment on customer sites, travel up to 80%, and liaise with our China-based team.

You’ll complete service reports and ensure high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree, has 2+ years of field service experience, and is comfortable with RMA

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese required to communicate with China-based team.
• 2+ years of field service or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% (including overnight stays).
• Technical degree (Associates or higher) in Electronics/Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical or precision instrumentation.
• Familiarity with RMA processes and service operations.
• Background in semiconductors, medical devices, industrial automation, or similar high-tech industries.
• Experience with industrial fiber optic lasers and systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct RMA evaluations and repairs in-house as required.
• Provide clear and professional communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete service reports, documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work with internal teams to provide field feedback and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain proper inventory and care of tools, parts and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols during all field and in-house service activities.
