Job summary

Hayat Kimya in Turkey is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead planned and predictive maintenance, organize the maintenance team, and ensure reliable operation of production lines in the FMCG sector.

You will focus on reducing unplanned downtime, analyze failures, and manage spare parts and technical drawings. Fluent English and hands-on mechanical expertise are required, with relocation to Mersin encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S, TPM) and problem-solving tools.
• Willingness to relocate to Mersin.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planned, predictive maintenance plans and organize the maintenance team to implement them.
• Reduce unplanned maintenance and downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.
• Analyze equipment failures, initiate preventive actions, and prepare failure analysis reports.
• Conduct spare parts planning for machinery and procure technical drawings for manufactured parts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (preferred), or a related engineering discipline. Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
• Preferably 3 -5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within liquid filling, liquid packaging, or detergent production facilities
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and problem-solving tools
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical thinking, result-oriented approach, and effective communication and teamwork skills
• Based in Mersin or willing to relocate
