A leading manufacturer in the packaging sector in Turkey is seeking a Mechanic Maintenance Engineer for its Paper Mill in Corlu. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering, and possess strong communication and management skills. A B Class driving license is also required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

For our Paper Mill in Corlu, we are looking for a Mechanic Maintenance Engineer. This role will be responsible for;

• Lead and oversee maintenance teams to ensure all maintenance operations are executed efficiently and without disruption.
• Ensure all maintenance activities fully comply with Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Manage the maintenance budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Oversee the complete and accurate execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve reliable maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate complex maintenance and installation activities, ensuring proper planning and cross‑functional alignment.
• Introduce and implement innovative practices aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing overall maintenance costs.
• Translate corporate objectives into departmental targets and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance function.
• Monitor maintenance performance and provide monthly performance reports to senior management.
• Foster a strong team culture by encouraging collaboration, communication, and shared accountability.
• Identify training needs within the team and support the development of employees through targeted training and upskilling initiatives.
