Job summary

Ülker – part of pladis Global in Türkiye – is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to plan, execute, and monitor maintenance and improvement of packaging machines on production lines. You will design, assemble, and commission parts as needed, perform engineering analyses, lead Kaizen projects, and prepare reports to management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor all maintenance and repair activities of packaging machines in production lines.
• Manage the design, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning processes of machine parts when required.
• Perform engineering analyses to improve existing machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects to enhance efficiency in production and quality processes.
• Monitor machine performance and identify issues, providing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper and efficient machine operation.
• Ensure that all packaging machines comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Follow technological developments and contribute to innovative packaging solutions.
• Prepare and present technical reports to management.
• Identify spare parts, materials, and investment needs, and support investment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum two years of experience in packaging machinery, mechanical design, and/or maintenance engineering.
• Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation and CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong project management, team coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Competency in technical reporting and data analysis, with the ability to use relevant software tools.
• High awareness of quality standards and safety procedures.
• Innovative, solution‑oriented, and proactive mindset.
