Job summary

Aksa Carbon is seeking an Electrical & Automation Specialist Engineer to lead the maintenance team and drive improvements across electrical and automation systems in our Yalova/Karamürsel plant. The role focuses on reducing downtime, optimizing energy use, and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and electrical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in electrical/electronics/automation engineering, PLC/DCS experience, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/automation engineering or related field.
• Preferably 3 years of maintenance experience in industrial plants.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and DCS (Honeywell) systems preferred.
• Energy management certificates preferred.
• Familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD, and CMMS (BEAM or Maximo) tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in a team.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities; eager to learn.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Yalova or Karamürsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical & Automation Maintenance team
• Decrease breakdown time and improve plant performance using advanced maintenance methods
• Perform preventive maintenance on all systems including production equipment and electrical infrastructure
• Modify PLC software for Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Mitsubishi; SCADA and drive systems
• Calibrate process devices
• Support energy management activities to increase energy efficiency and reduce consumption
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and activities
• Support CMMS activities including work orders, equipment history and spare parts optimization
• Ensure spare parts organization and create requests for electrical items
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures and HSE policies

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical & Automation Maintenance team
• Decrease breakdown time at the plant and increase plant performance parameters by using advanced maintenance methods.
• Execute and follow Preventive maintenance activities related with all systems including production equipment and electrical infrastructure.
• PLC Software modification Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Mitsubishi PLC, Scada and drive systems.
• Implement calibrations of the process devices.
• Support energy management activities (electricity, steam, natural gas etc. ) of the plant to increase energy efficiency and decrease consumptions.
• Support implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and activities.
• Support CMMS activities including work order management, equipment history and spare parts optimization.
• Ensure follow up Spare part organization and create new requests related with electrical items
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures and company HSE policies.
