Digiturk is seeking a senior leader in entertainment production to shape and execute the unscripted content strategy. You will drive development, commissioning, and production across in-house and outsourced formats, from concept to delivery, coordinating with multiple departments to maximize impact.

The role requires extensive experience leading production teams, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and deep knowledge of the Turkish television landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in television or digital content production.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing production teams.
• Experience overseeing both in-house production operations and external production companies.
• Strong expertise in production management, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and post-production workflows.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating production agreements and managing complex partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing creative, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across departments.
• Deep knowledge of local television and entertainment production landscape.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile productions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the unscripted entertainment production strategy in line with programming and business goals.
• Lead the development, commissioning, and production of all entertainment formats across in-house and outsourced productions.
• Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept development through delivery and launch.
• Manage relationships with production companies, talent, producers, directors, and industry partners.
• Evaluate and commission new program concepts, formats, and adaptations based on insights and trends.
• Negotiate production agreements, budgets, schedules, and deliverables with external partners.
• Oversee in-house production teams, ensuring efficient resource planning and high creative performance.
• Ensure all productions are delivered on schedule, within budgets, and compliant with requirements.
• Establish and maintain production standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Monitor production performance, budgets, risks, and timelines; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate across Programming, Acquisitions, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
• Drive innovation in content creation by identifying new formats and techniques.
• Oversee production budgets and ensure effective cost management and allocation.
• Develop and mentor the production team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Prepare executive reports, production updates, investment proposals, and performance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local regulation and company policies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept development and greenlight through production, post-production, delivery, and launch.
• Manage relationships with production companies, creative talent, producers, directors, and key industry partners.
• Evaluate and commission new program concepts, formats, and adaptations based on audience insights, market trends, and commercial objectives.
• Negotiate production agreements, budgets, schedules, and deliverables with external production partners.
• Oversee in-house production teams, ensuring efficient resource planning, collaboration, and high creative performance.
• Ensure all productions are delivered on schedule, within approved budgets, and in compliance with editorial, legal, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain production standards, workflows, and best practices across all local productions.
• Monitor production performance, budgets, risks, and timelines, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with Programming, Acquisitions, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to maximize the impact of local productions.
