Job summary

Digiturk is seeking a senior data leader to own enterprise data architecture, governance, and analytics enablement. The role drives data platform strategy across cloud/hybrid environments, ensuring scalable pipelines, data quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years in data management or enterprise technology, with 5+ years in executive leadership.
• Data platform architecture, cloud data services, data engineering, and data lake/warehouse ecosystems.
• BI, Advanced Analytics, AI technologies, and analytics lifecycle management.
• ETL/ELT frameworks, data pipelines, metadata management, MDM, and data lineage.
• Data governance, data quality, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Vendor, stakeholder, and cross-functional relationship management.
• Leadership in building and mentoring data/analytics teams.
• Strategic thinking to define/execute long-term data/AI roadmaps.
• Translate complex concepts into business value; communicate to executives.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture and Domain Management: Define and maintain enterprise data models and taxonomy.
• Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Lead governance, metadata, glossary, and quality metrics.
• Data Platform Engineering and Operations: Guide cloud/hybrid platforms, lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
• Analytics and AI Enablement: Support analytics/AI workloads with robust data support.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align data platform services with business/tech units and lead data forums.

IDEAL PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred,
• Minimum 15+ years in data management or enterprise technology, with 5+ years in executive leadership roles,
• Proven expertise in data platform architecture, cloud data services, data engineering, and enterprise data lake/warehouse ecosystems,
• Strong knowledge of BI, Advanced Analytics, AI technologies, and end-to-end analytics lifecycle management,
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, data pipeline orchestration, metadata management, Master Data Management (MDM), and data lineage best practices,
• Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements,
• Strong vendor, stakeholder, and cross‑functional relationship management skills, with the ability to align business and technology objectives,
• Demonstrated leadership in building, mentoring, and developing high‑performing data and analytics teams,
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to define and execute long‑term data and AI road maps while delivering short‑term business outcomes,
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value and effectively communicate data strategy to executive and non‑technical stakeholders,Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment,Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Data Architecture and Domain Management

• Define and maintain enterprise data models, domain ownership, and taxonomy frameworks,
• Oversee data architecture design across systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and interoperability,
• Supervise the alignment of data architecture with platform, integration, and application landscapes,
• Ensure collaboration across business units to maintain high‑quality domain definitions and ownership models.

Data Governance And Quality Assurance

• Lead the implementation of data governance frameworks, roles, and policies at both Group and business levels,
• Supervise enterprise data stewardship, metadata management, and business glossary development,
• Define and monitor key data quality metrics and remediation programs across data domains,
• Ensure compliance with internal data policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.

Data Platform Engineering and Operations

• Oversee the development and management of cloud and hybrid data platforms, data lakes, and warehouses,
• Ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency of data infrastructure and pipelines,
• Coordinate across DevOps, infrastructure, and analytics teams to support reliable data provisioning and usage,
• Embed automation and re‑usability into data pipeline development, ingestion, and orchestration.

Analytics and AI Enablement

• Support advanced analytics and AI initiatives through robust data engineering and modeling support,
• Ensure data platforms and architectures are optimized for analytics and ML workloads,
• Facilitate secure access to curated datasets and model‑ready data for analytics teams,
• Collaborate with Group AI leads and domain teams to accelerate AI adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment

• Work closely with technology, digital product, compliance, and business teams to align data platform services and data access policies,
• Act as the Group lead in data‑related forums, transformation initiatives, and strategic working groups.
