Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill an Engineering Manager - Linux Hardware Enablement role based in Turkey. Lead a distributed engineering team spanning Linux software and hardware, collaborating with silicon partners to optimize Ubuntu across the stack from kernel to desktop.

You will oversee hardware enablement across IoT, PC, and server platforms, coach engineers, and drive delivery while maintaining quality. International travel up to twice per year may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu or Debian packaging.
• Experience with high-performance, server-class hardware.
• Excellent English communication.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work with customers or partners.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team delivering Ubuntu integrations for IoT, PC, and server hardware.
• Provide technical leadership across the Linux stack and collaborate with silicon partners.
• Manage partner engagements and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
• Coach and mentor engineers and align roadmaps with internal teams.
• Travel internationally up to twice per year for two weeks.
