Job summary

DP World is seeking a Field Sales Manager in Istanbul to develop new business, manage key customer relationships, and drive revenue across Air, Ocean, and Project Cargo services. You will lead field-based engagements, coordinate cross-functional bids, and deliver tailored logistics solutions.

The role demands 2–5 years in sales within Freight Forwarding or logistics, strong communication, and proven ability to manage tenders and complex partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding or logistics.
• Experience in field sales and account management.
• Experience managing customer tenders (RFI/RFQ/RFP) preferred.
• English language proficiency required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coordinate with global and regional teams.
• Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across air, ocean, and project cargo services.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and uncover growth opportunities.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive lead generation.
• Achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and commercial proposals.
• Lead and coordinate tender processes with Pricing, Operations, Product, and regional teams.
• Manage strategic and global tender opportunities with timely submissions.
• Analyze tender requirements and commercial risks to craft winning solutions.
• Build strong relationships with key accounts and support long-term growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
• Coordinate stakeholders through tender lifecycles and ensure alignment.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy for customers, opportunities, tenders, and pipeline.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Grow assigned customer portfolio while ensuring high satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with DP World's policies and reporting standards.
