Avesoro is looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team.
We are looking for a proactive HR professional with solid experience in Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, strong communication and presentation skills, and a very good command of English.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and executing recruitment processes, HR operations, organizational development activities, HR reporting, and employee follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for different functions and levels.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and define suitable candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, career portals, referrals, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct candidate screening, HR interviews, competency-based interviews, and candidate assessments.
- Prepare candidate evaluation reports and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate reference checks, offer processes, and pre-employment activities.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
- Follow up with new employees during their 2-month and 6-month periods and coordinate relevant evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date vacancy and candidate information and support the development of talent pools for critical positions.
- Support the preparation and updating of organizational charts in coordination with relevant departments.
- Support the preparation, review, and updating of job descriptions.
- Support workforce planning and manpower analysis, including headcount requirements, current workforce structure, and staffing needs.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and management presentations and provide regular HR-related analyses.
- Coordinate and follow up on training and development activities, including annual training plans, training schedules, and participation records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment and HR reports and track relevant HR KPIs.
- Support the preparation of HR presentations, analyses, and management reports.
- Contribute to recruitment and HR projects related to our international operations when required.
- Support the development and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university; engineering graduates are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with a focus on Recruitment & Talent Acquisition.
- Experience in recruitment, HR reporting, workforce planning, and general HR processes.
- Experience in sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, reference checks, and recruitment processes.
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and career portals.
- Knowledge of competency-based interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
- Experience or familiarity with organizational charts, job descriptions, workforce planning, and HR reporting.
- Experience in coordinating training and development activities is an advantage.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Good analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn HR data into meaningful insights.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
