CMA CGM Group is seeking a senior logistics professional to lead the Global Business Support (GBS) Cargo Operations team in overseeing daily vessel and cargo operations across port calls. You will coordinate stakeholders, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service quality.

Applicants should have a logistics or maritime background, strong communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• Experience in vessel operations, cargo operations, port agency, or terminal operations.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the Global Business Support (GBS) Cargo Operations team.
• Coordinate vessel port calls from nomination to departure.
• Serve as primary contact between shipping lines, vessel masters, terminals, port authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily/weekly operational meetings and follow-up on actions.
• Plan and monitor vessel and cargo operations, including berth arrangements and call scheduling.
• Lead non-standard/complex cargo operations with cross-functional coordination.
• Coordinate cargo operations with terminals, planners, and ship management.
• Review and validate cargo documentation including dangerous goods.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor operations, identify risks, and manage escalations and corrective actions.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement in cargo operations.
• Provide timely operational reporting and performance metrics.
• Perform post-sailing activities and cargo reconciliation.
• Verify supplier invoices and support cost control processes.
• Coach and develop team members, foster a high-performance culture.
• Conduct terminal visits and follow-ups as needed.
