Job summary

Siemens Mobility in İzmit, Turkey is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Global Customer Care team. You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical panels and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, the ability to read technical drawings, and willingness to travel for service assignments. A technical degree and English proficiency are preferred; SAP and MS Office 365 knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Associate, or Technical High School degree in Mechanics, Electrical Technologies or Mechatronics.
Solid knowledge of Medium and Low Voltage Distribution Systems.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good command of English.
Site installation and commissioning experience preferred.
SAP and MS Office 365 knowledge considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform service, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites.
Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in electrical installations and equipment.
Work independently or as part of a team within installation and maintenance tasks.
Carry out assembly and pre-assembly tasks per drawings, parts lists, and work instructions.
Check incoming materials and ensure proper documentation.
Prepare and complete service reports and communicate with stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
Maintain work area order and handover at shift changes.
Support shipment of repaired or replaced equipment and share updates with supervisors.
