Job summary

Rapiscan, a part of OSI Systems, Inc., is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to support Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems in Turkey, based in Ankara. The role involves hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and providing excellent customer service.

You will be the local technical contact across Turkey, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and remote/on-site support. Travel throughout the country is required, and you will document activities and maintain tools and

Qualifications

Engineering qualification (BTEC/City & Guilds/HNC) or equivalent.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, electro-mechanical, or industrial systems.
IT networking knowledge; CCNP or similar beneficial.
Experience with PLC-controlled systems, HV systems, radar, or integrated tech is an advantage.
Relevant practical experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and fault diagnosis on CVI systems.
Serve as the local technical point of contact for customers throughout Turkey.
Carry out troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and IT-related systems.
Support the maintenance and servicing of Mercedes-based inspection vehicles.
Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance activities on deployed cargo inspection systems.
Provide technical support and respond to customer service requests both remotely and on-site.
Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately.
Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, vehicles, and spare parts.
Build positive customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
Follow all health, safety, and operational requirements.
