Job summary

Maneuver Recruitment Consultancy, on behalf of a leading Egypt-based textile and apparel group, seeks a Factory Manager to lead a brand-new garment facility in El Minya. You will establish operations from startup to full-scale production, building the organization and leadership teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep experience in Cutting and Sewing, a track record of launching factories, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or textile/industrial engineering.
• Minimum 15 years in garment manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in Cutting & Sewing operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience as Factory/Plant/Operations Director or similar.
• Track record of launching or expanding manufacturing operations.

Our client is one of the largest fully integrated textile and apparel manufacturing groups in Egypt, serving globally recognized fashion brands across Europe and the United States.

As part of the company's ambitious expansion strategy, we are looking for a "Factory Manager" to lead the establishment and operations of a brand-new garment manufacturing facility based in El Minya (Al Minya), Upper Egypt.

About the Role

The Factory Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading a large-scale garment manufacturing facility from its startup phase through full-scale operations.

The successful candidate will build the production organization, recruit and develop key leadership teams, establish operational standards, and drive world-class manufacturing performance across Cutting and Sewing operations.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional people management skills, and previous experience in launching or scaling manufacturing facilities.

The Factory Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company's long-term expansion strategy, with multiple new factories planned over the coming years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience within garment manufacturing.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale Cutting & Sewing operations.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs, quality metrics, and process optimization
• Experience in complex, integrated manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Fluency in English
• Previous experience as Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Director.
• Proven track record of establishing, launching, or significantly expanding manufacturing operations.
• Strong technical expertise in garment production processes, particularly Cutting and Sewing.
• Demonstrated success managing large manufacturing organizations with thousands of employees.
• Experience building management teams and developing organizational capabilities.
• International project or overseas manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
