Job summary

Maneuver Recruitment Consultancy, on behalf of a leading Egypt-based textile and apparel group, seeks a Factory Manager to lead a brand-new garment facility in El Minya. You will establish operations from startup to full-scale production, building the organization and leadership teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep experience in Cutting and Sewing, a track record of launching factories, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or textile/industrial engineering.
• Minimum 15 years in garment manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in Cutting & Sewing operations.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience as Factory/Plant/Operations Director or similar.
• Track record of launching or expanding manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and commissioning of a brand-new garment facility from scratch.
• Build and develop the factory organization and production leadership teams.
• Establish world-class manufacturing standards across Cutting and Sewing.
• Drive production efficiency, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• Develop KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives across all production functions.
• Ensure operational excellence while maintaining international quality standards.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, training, and succession planning.
• Support capacity expansion and future factory developments as part of long-term growth.
