Beymen Group, a leading Turkish luxury fashion retailer, is seeking a Garment Tech Manager to lead the Sample Room and Fitting operations in line with the collection calendar.
You will technically evaluate packs, translate design into pattern and production details, manage pattern makers and sewing teams, and ensure quality and on-time delivery across premium brands.

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Textile and Fashion Design, Apparel Technologies, or a related field,
Minimum 8 years of experience in sample development, fitting, technical product development, or sample room processes within the textile, apparel, or fashion industry, including at least 3 years of team management experience,
Preferably experienced in premium/luxury fashion brands or companies operating with high quality standards,
Advanced technical knowledge of sample development, fitting, pattern making, garment measurements, sewing techniques, and garment construction,
Strong knowledge of pattern making, sewing, and production techniques across different product categories,
Ability to assess the impact of fabrics, trims, and auxiliary materials on garment fit, shape, drape, and performance,
Ability to read, evaluate, and provide guidance on technical packs, measurement charts, fitting reports, and technical product specifications,
Strong technical perspective with the ability to translate the aesthetic vision of a design into a manufacturable, high-quality, and technically accurate product,
Ability to proactively identify potential technical risks during the transition from sampling to production and develop effective solutions,
Experienced in managing pattern makers, garment technologists, sample sewing teams, and other technical teams,
Ability to manage multiple product and sampling processes simultaneously within demanding collection calendars,
Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills,
Highly detail- and quality-oriented, results-driven, with strong follow-up and execution skills,
Proficient in MS Office applications,
Preferably with a good command of English.
Ensure the end-to-end management of Sample Room and Fitting processes in line with the collection calendar and product development plans,
Plan, prioritize, and monitor all sample development processes from the design stage through to production approval,
Technically evaluate sketches, technical packs, reference garments, and product briefs provided by the Design team to ensure that the sampling process is initiated accurately,
Ensure that the design vision is accurately translated into the garment’s pattern, construction, fit, and production details,
Ensure that pattern and model development, cutting, sewing, and sample preparation processes are carried out in accordance with defined quality standards and timelines,
Plan capacity and workload for sampling processes and ensure the effective allocation of teams and resources according to collection priorities,
Plan and lead fitting sessions; assess the fit and appearance of garments on models or fit models from both technical and aesthetic perspectives,
During fittings, evaluate garment measurements, proportions, balance, silhouette, comfort, movement, construction, and sewing details,
Analyze the root causes of identified fitting issues and determine the necessary technical actions related to pattern, sewing, or garment construction,
Ensure that decisions and revisions agreed during fittings are accurately communicated to and implemented by the pattern/model and sampling teams,
Reassess revised samples to ensure that the product meets the required fit and quality standards,
Check garments against measurement charts and tolerance requirements and provide the necessary technical guidance,
Evaluate the impact of fabrics and trims on garment shape, drape, stretch, dimensional stability, and overall appearance,
Assess manufacturability, quality, construction, and cost risks identified during the sampling stage together with relevant teams, and develop alternative technical solutions,
Ensure that approved samples are technically complete and accurate before being released for production,
Ensure that all critical changes made during the sampling stage are accurately reflected in the relevant technical documentation,
Coordinate Design, Product Development, Purchasing/Sourcing, Quality, and Production teams throughout the sampling and fitting processes,
Analyze the root causes of recurring fitting, pattern, and construction issues and develop sustainable corrective and improvement actions,
Manage the daily work plans, performance, and development of pattern/model, sample sewing, and other relevant technical teams,
Identify development areas that will enhance the team’s technical knowledge and capabilities, and provide the necessary training and knowledge sharing,
Monitor new developments in pattern making, garment construction, sewing, and product development techniques, and assess opportunities for process improvement.
