Job summary

Maersk is seeking a senior specialist to drive operational excellence across the European Logistics and Services network. You will standardize processes, improve system adoption and lead transformation initiatives across Operations, Product, Technology and Process Owners.

The role requires strong experience in freight forwarding or logistics, hands-on experience with Lean/Six Sigma, and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver scalable, customer-focused improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that improve productivity, quality, service performance and process compliance across the region.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.
• Drive adoption of new systems, automation solutions and digital tools.
• Partner with technology and platform teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Ensure regional processes and SOPs align with global standards.
• Reduce operational variation and promote best practices across countries.
• Serve as the key regional contact for process design, system enhancements and change requests.
• Support testing, deployment and implementation of new capabilities.
• Facilitate collaboration between Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology teams.
• Remove roadblocks and drive end-to-end process improvements.
• Promote Lean thinking, root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Share successful solutions and improvement initiatives across the network.
