Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced leader to drive Operational Excellence across Europe’s Logistics and Services network. You will standardise processes, lead transformation initiatives and act as the bridge between Operations, Product, Technology and Process Owners to deliver scalable, customer-focused improvements.

You will champion adoption of new systems and digital tools, partner with tech and platform teams to enhance user experience, and promote data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience in Operational Excellence, Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles
• Strong knowledge of forwarding processes
• Hands-on experience with freight forwarding platforms such as CargoWise or similar systems
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading transformation and change initiatives
• Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable process improvements

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives that improve productivity, quality, service performance and process compliance across the region.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable improvements.
• Drive adoption of new systems, automation solutions and digital tools.
• Partner with technology and platform teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.
• Ensure regional processes and SOPs align with global standards.
• Reduce operational variation and promote best practices across countries.
• Serve as the key regional contact for process design, system enhancements and change requests.
• Support testing, deployment and implementation of new capabilities.
• Facilitate collaboration between Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance and Technology teams.
• Remove roadblocks and drive end-to-end process improvements.
• Promote Lean thinking, root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Share successful solutions and improvement initiatives across the network.
