Job summary

Kraft Heinz Türkiye, based in Susurluk/Balıkesir, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS and ORM across Turkey operations. You will cooperate with Legal and Communications on EHS events, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk mitigation and continuous improvement within KHMS integration.

The role requires 5+ years of managerial EHS experience, a relevant engineering degree, and a Class A/B safety certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in EHS.
• Class A or Class B occupational safety certificate required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to drive safety initiatives across multiple sites and functions.
• Willing to relocate or reside in Bursa/Balıkesir area.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS & ORM performance across all Turkey operations and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Legal and Communications on EHS events affecting brand integrity.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal EHS regulations and policies.
• Identify EHS and security risks and lead mitigation plans and follow-up.
• Drive EHS performance with Manufacturing Excellence integration (KHMS).
• Contribute to ESG and sustainability initiatives and audits.
• Ensure Logistics Safety and LOGO.OS program excellence.
• Implement regional EHS capability programs and initiatives.
• Develop new policies and oversee security, infirmary, and weigh bridge operations.
• Oversee environmental processes including wastewater and waste management.

About Job

To strengthen the Kraft Heinz family, we are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager. The Environmental Health & Safety Manager position is located within our Operations department. The workplace is in Susurluk/Balıkesir.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead EHS & ORM performance across all KHC Turkey including factory and seasonal operations while continuously monitoring and driving improvements.
• Being the primary liaison to cooperate with the Kraft Heinz Legal and Communications Department regarding EHS related events that could jeopardize brand integrity;
• Developing and maintaining new and existing tools to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local EHS regulations and assisting the factory with these requirements;
• Ensuring that KHC Turkey complies with Kraft Heinz EHS policies/procedures, guidelines and operating principles;
• Leading activities to determine EHS & Security related risks. Lead teams to prepare risk mitigation and elimination plans & follow up/ report the progress.
• Lead EHS performance through integration with Manufacturing Excellence (KHMS) to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to and lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, including sustainable agriculture practices and FSA audit reviews.
• Ensure Logistics Safety and excellence in LOGO.OS Program.
• Leverage EHS Capability Programs and implement regional initiatives and programs.
• Proposing new policies or procedures as needed;
• Being responsible for security, infirmary, and weigh bridge operations
• Be responsible for all environmental processes, including wastewater treatment, waste management and environmental compliance.
• Designing and implementing the facility's ORM Business Plans. Prepare EHS & Security related emergency plans to ensure business continuity.
• Participate in and build annual EHS audit and help improve actions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a similar area
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in EHS
• Class A or Class B occupational safety specialist certificate is must
• Autonomous leadership and bias for actions
• Passion for high performance
• Ability to simplify complex problems into clear actions
• Communication skills with different layers in the organization
• Analytical skills for identify proper root cause analysis
• Result driven & strong communication skills,
• Willing to relocate or residing in Bursa/ Balıkesir area ,
