Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Turkey seeks a Continuous Improvement Lead to strengthen our Kraft Heinz family. This field-based role, based in Susurluk, Balıkesir, focuses on eliminating losses, driving problem-solving, and advancing digitalization across the line.

You will collect data on losses, analyze root causes, coordinate with Process Owners, Team Leaders, and Maintenance Leaders, and ensure GMP standards are followed while using MES to keep data accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food engineering or related engineering field.
• Preferably intermediate English.
• Preferably experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Strong analytical skills, result-oriented, and a team player.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Balıkesir Susurluk, Bursa (Karacabey-Mustafakemalpaşa), Manyas, or Bandırma areas.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and prioritizes loss elimination opportunities by analyzing daily and shift-based data.
• Ensures sustainability of CI tools used on the shop floor through regular monitoring.
• Works on the floor to collect data on losses and changes in the last 24 hours.
• Investigates root causes of major breakdowns and encourages countermeasure planning.
• Determines optimal settings on the lines and ensures their continuity, taking preventive actions as needed.
• Participates in daily management meetings, ensures performance and daily management boards are updated.
• Collaborates with Process Owners, Team Leaders, and Maintenance Leaders to address losses.
• Applies problem-solving techniques to eliminate chronic losses and supports related efforts.
• Carries out all other CI-related tasks assigned by management.
• Adheres to all GMP, hygiene, and cleaning standards, considering them in CI projects.
• Adjusts to various shift patterns when necessary to work with all shift employees.
• Uses MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ensures data accuracy.

The Continuous Improvement Lead position is within our Production Department. This is a field-based position located in Susurluk, Balıkesir.

The CI Lead is responsible for identifying and eliminating losses and waste on the line or equipment within their area of responsibility. They actively engage in problem-solving activities, digitalization efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
